- The Financial Times has redesigned the print version of the newspaper, as the FT shifts focus to its digital operation. Changes introduced include new colour graphics, a revamped front page as well as new content features and columns
- Nigel Pauley has left his role as reporter at the Daily Star
- Chris Campbell has left his role as property and jobs editor at the Gloucester Citizen, Gloucestershire Echo & Stroud Life. He will be joining the South Wales Evening Post on 29 September as property editor
- Amy Downward has announced via Twitter that she has joined the Shropshire Star as a news reporter. She was previously a reporter for the South Wales Evening Post
Fashion, Lifestyle & Entertainment
- Conrad Quilty-Harper has announced via Twitter that he has joined GQ-magazine.co.uk as news editor
- Ben Homewood has been appointed reviews editor of NME, the magazine announced via Twitter
- Claire Holmes has been appointed deputy editor of Grow Your Own
- Imagine Publishing has announced the purchase of History of War magazine and its website HistoryofWar.co.uk from Bath-based Anthem Publishing for an undisclosed sum
- Mark Sansom has been appointed deputy editor at the Food and Travel magazine. He was previously commissioning editor at Men’s Health
- Georgie Corlett has been announced as the new editor of Yachts & Yachting, replacing Gael Pawson who has edited the monthly magazine for the past thirteen years
- GoodHomes magazine has been acquired by Media 10 Ltd. The first issue published by Media 10 will be out on 31 October
- Julia May Morgan has been promoted to fashion director from fashion editor at Woman & Home. The publication has also appointed Lynda Bell as fashion and shopping editor and Lucy Mulliner as acting junior fashion editor. Lucy will be covering Emma Faiers’ maternity leave
Business & Finance
- Alex Brownsell has been appointed editor of M&M Global and global case study database Cream. He was previously digital editor for Marketing magazine
- Fiona Murphy will take over as editor of COVER. She succeeds Paul Robertson from Monday 29 September
