Beauty Blogs UK Top 10
The Top 10 Beauty Blog ranking was last updated 11/09/2024.
Vuelio uses a proprietary algorithm to create these rankings, based on topic-related content in blogs on its system – you can read more about the process here. Our research team actively seeks out new blogs and bloggers for inclusion, but if you think we’ve missed someone, please get in touch to let us know.
1. Really Ree
Congrats to Really Ree, who takes the top spot this year! ‘Obsessed with everything to do with beauty – including makeup, skincare, fragrance, and hair – this blogger’s purpose is ‘discovering new products and sharing her findings’. Worth checking out now as we get closer to the festive season – which advent calendars from the big beauty brands you should invest in just in time for December (find thoughts on offerings from Space NK, Jo Malone, M&S, and more).
2. British Beauty Blogger
Another beautiful blog moving up the ranking this year is British Beauty Blogger, aka Jane Cunningham. Since 2008, Jane has been sharing recommendations for all things beauty, alongside authoring books and nabbing bylines in print and online outlets. Reviews span from affordable highstreet brands to luxury products for those with bigger budgets to play with – there’s something here for everyone who is into self care and successful sprucing.
3. The CH Blog
Still in our top three is super busy skincare superstar Caroline Hirons, with The CH Blog. Featuring regularly on television screens, and on bookshelves with ‘skinCARE: The ultimate no-nonsense guide’, Caroline has been called ‘the most important figure in British beauty’ by The Business of Fashion. While not blogging as much as she used to, Caroline still takes time to share skincare secrets here and on her podcast. Previous guests include Sarah Jessica Parker, Fleur and Keshia East, and Val Garland.
4. Jasmine Talks Beauty
‘Some people like Star Wars Memorabilia, some people collect stamps – my thing just happens to be beauty’ – also moving up our ranking is Jasmine Talks Beauty, who blogs about ‘beauty for all budgets’. With the switching of the seasons, check out her advice on what to bring on late summer holidays for skincare and beauty, and the skin barrier saviours available in highstreet stores now. Whatever time of year, sunscreen is also a must – read up on Jasmine’s makeup-friendly sunscreen favourites.
5. Stephi LaReine
Blogger Stephi LaReine is also moving up the ranking this year, giving a voice to ‘anyone who dares to be different’. Helping her readers make their beauty cabinet a more ‘colourful and positive place’, Stephi aims to ‘inspire while aspiring to be everything a person can be’. A 1st Class graduate in Photography and Graphic Design, her aesthetic flows through to the blog, too. Alongside the beauty content, you can find fashion, travel, and general lifestyle posts, even tattoo ideas for travel lovers.
6. Man For Himself
Up from number eight for 2024 is Man For Himself Robin James, who is here to help his fellow fellas. ‘From hair tutorials, product reviews, seasonal tips and grooming hacks, I shoot videos, take pictures and write,’ says Robin, who curates the best for men wanting to explore their own sense of style and find what works for them. In case you hadn’t heard – Oasis is back, and so too – probably – will be Liam Gallagher’s iconic mop top. Want to take the plunge and get a matching style? This blog has tips on mod-inspired dos.
7. Just Nadiene
Moving up from last year’s number nine is Just Nadiene, who originally started her blog after finding Instagram a little too restrictive in terms of space. With more room, Nadiene blogs about makeup, skincare, perfume, as well as wellbeing, food, and fashion. Self-care ideas to try recommended on the blog recently – rituals for nurturing your mind, body and soul; techniques for finding inner peace; and which ingredients and products to stock up on for radiant skin when the weather gets colder.
Up from number ten is Helen at Natural Beauty with Baby, who offers her readers ‘healthy ways to feel good with little ones – beauty, wellbeing, family, and more’. Not just for parents, this blog is also perfect for those with specific skin care concerns – Helen herself has battled with psoriasis and eczema, and focuses on natural beauty products for healing troubled skin. Sharing her love for soothing plant-based ingredients, posts focus on general beauty and wellbeing, skin, and also children’s skincare.
New in the beauty ranking this year, but no stranger to our Top 10 UK Fashion Blog ranking, is That’s Not My Age by Alyson Walsh. This ‘grown-up guide to great style’ is for the fashionistas out there, but also features a helpful Health & Beauty channel. Aiming to ‘celebrate midlife and beyond,’ Alyson believes that ‘looking good is not about buying loads of new stuff but spending time figuring out what makes you feel chic and comfortable and confident’. Head on over to read her tips for women who want to ‘look good, not young’.
We welcome another new entry this year – Damzel in this Dress, from content creator Rosie. Originally starting in 2013, Rosie wanted to blog anonymously and just generally ‘have a rant’. These days, she’s not so anonymous, as, in her words, ‘it’s a little hard to stay anon with all this sass’. Alongside fashion and beauty, posts cover food and London lifestyle – but we’re here for the beauty. Find Rosie’s thoughts on toners, high-end lip pencils, restoring shampoos, and glittery eyeshadow palettes galore.
Collaborating with bloggers requires mutual respect and understanding: respect their schedules; take time to read their content to learn their interests; and only contact them if/when they want to be contacted. You can see more advice in our blogger spotlights.
