Guardian Books Blogger Sian Cain, speaks for the first time about winning the Best UK Traditional Media Blog at the #VuelioBlogAwards and why she is flattered. 

“We’re very flattered – we let all our writers know and they’re very pleased. It is nice to receive an award as it means people are reading our content and see something dynamic and enjoyable.

“For regular bloggers, it is probably a huge deal because they’ve built their brand themselves and sometimes have produced it from nothing, from their homes. Being from a newspaper, it is a bit different for us, but still very flattering!”.
