Blogger Outreach: Plan your ‘Day out in London’ with Daniel Pharaoh
Daniel Pharaoh author of the blog Day Out in London and of the eBook 103 Things To Do in London tells us about his blogging journey so far, how he works with PR and what’s going to be big on his blog in the coming months.
About Day Out in London. Day Out In London is a website focused on showing people what London has to offer to visitors. The website has a foundation in a series of short profiles for every major London attraction which is then layered with in-depth comparisons, lists, reviews and discussions. The aim of the website is to allow prospective visitors to London to quickly glance at all the available options to them and determine which attraction(s) would be best suited to them.
Standing out from the crowd. I’ve attempted to create a stripped back blog which focuses on what people visiting London really want to know. I’ve noticed that many other London focused websites try and encapsulate every aspect of London life which can sometimes become overwhelming for a visitor who may just want to know which London museum is best for kids. I hope to answer questions such as these very clearly in a fun and visual way without confusing the visitors with local politics.
Working with PRs. Depending on how the blog moves forward in the future I would be interested in working with PRs to ensure my blog is effective in its goals. My blog certainly has a strong brand which is targeted at a young audience, it is colourful and bold and is very suited to the subject of the blog as London becomes one of the most popular places for the young and trendy to be seen.
