35% of editors are women
According to CisionPoint’s Media Database 35% of editors at national daily newspapers are female.
Of the 12 dailies, the Guardian and the Daily Express have the smallest gender gap, with 40% and 42% female editors respectively.
At the other end of the scale, The Independent and The Sun have the worst balance with 26% and 27% female editors, respectively.
