- Sarah-Jane Mee has been announced as the new host of Sky News’ breakfast programme Sunrise. Sarah-Jane takes over from Eamonn Holmes as lead presenter. Jonathan Samuels, senior correspondent for Sky News, has been appointed Sarah-Jane’s co-host. Sarah-Jane and Jonathan will be on air from Monday 17th October. Stephen Dixon will continue to host Sunrise Friday through to Sunday alongside co-host Isabel Webster
- Colin Murray has been announced as the new host of BBC Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk for the second time. Murray left talkSPORT earlier this month
- Bloomberg News have announced that Tim Ross is to join its UK government team based in Westminster on 26 September. He joins from the Telegraph Media Group where he is currently senior political correspondent
- Rachel Wearmouth is set to join the Sunday Post as politics/investigations reporter on 1st October
- Gayle McDonald has been appointed defence reporter at The Herald (Plymouth)
- Liam Kennedy has been appointed Sunderland AFC writer at the Sunderland Echo. He was previously a football writer at the Evening Telegraph (Dundee)

- Time Inc UK has announced the launch of Cake International magazine. The cake decorating, sugarcraft, and baking magazine will include step-by-step tutorials, monthly reviews, and problem solving pages. The first issue hits the newsstands on 16 September
- Claire Baranowski is now acting editor at World Travel Guide. Sian Meades has now left the website
- Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon has been appointed acting website editor at HELLO! covering Andrea Caamano’s maternity leave
- Lauran Elsden has been appointed deputy features editor at Country Living
- Bethan Rees has been appointed assistant editor at City Magazine
- Liam Campbell has joined The Taste as wine editor. He was previously the wine and drinks editor at the Irish Independent
- Lucy Partington has been appointed beauty writer at Cosmopolitan
- Jack White has been appointed news reporter at Now magazine. He was previously a digital writer at HELLO!
- Melanie Macleod has been appointed content writer at You & Your Wedding
- Madeline Burkitt has been promoted to cookery writer at Good Housekeeping from her previous role as cookery assistant
- J’Nae Phillips has been appointed fashion assistant at Asda Good Living
- Damien Smith has left his role as editor at Motor Sport for a new role at automotive PR specialists Influence Associates. Joe Dunn is now the acting editor

- Emily Perryman has been appointed acting editor at Retirement Planner covering Jenna Towler’s maternity leave
- Rebekah Commane has been appointed editor at Mortgage Strategy
- Simon Miller has been appointed senior writer/researcher at Which? Money
- Allister Hayman, deputy editor at Property Week, is set to leave the title and take up a role with ING Media, an architecture, property and design-focused PR and communications agency

- Matthew Jarvis has been appointed as editor at Tabletop Gaming. He was previously deputy editor at Develop magazine
- Tom Morgan has now been appointed reviews editor at Stuff. He was previously news editor at the title
- Madlen Davies has been appointed science and health reporter at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism. She was previously a health reporter at MailOnline
- Roland Moore-Colyer has been appointed news editor at TechWeek europe. Also Ben Sullivan has now left his role at the site to join Motherboard
