UK Government
Jake Berry has been appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Chris Whitty is set to replace Sally Davies as Chief Medical Officer for England and the UK government’s Chief Medical Adviser, in October 2019.
Sharon Witherspoon has been re-appointed as a member of the Senior Salaries Review Body.
Sharan White is set to step-down as the Chief Executive of the Office of Communications at the end of 2019.
Paul Martin has been re-appointed to the Board of the Charity Commission.
Kumar Iyer is set to become the Chief Economist in July 2019.
Owen Jenkins has been appointed as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and non-resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
Karen Bell was appointed as the High Commissioner to the Republic of Vanuatu.
Rebecca Lawrence is set to become the Chief Executive of the Crown Prosecution service in September 2019, she will replace Paul Staff.
Sarah Castle has been appointed as the Official Solicitor and Public Trustee (OSPT).
Jake Berry has been confirmed as part of a new joint ministerial appointment shared with the Ministry of Housing Communities & Local Government and Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Dr Jenny Harries OBE has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England.
Nicholas Abbot has been appointed as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo.
Rt Hon Sir Michael Fallon has left the Crown Service.
Lord James O’Shaughnessy has left the Crown Service.
The Reverend Stephen Michael Edwards be appointed to the Canonry in the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Worcester.
Scottish Government
Sarah Davidson has left the Crown Service.
Paul Gray has left the Crown Service.
Welsh Government
Michael Giannasi is set to become Chair of the Social Care Wales Board from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2023.
Marina Battle and Trystan Pritchard will become members of the Social Care Wales Board from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2023.
Carwyn Jones has left the Crown Service.
House of Commons
Lisa Forbes was elected as the Labour MP for Peterborough in a by-election which took place on 6th June 2019, achieving 31% of the total vote.
Scottish Parliament
Rhoda Grant has replaced Neil Findlay as a member of the Parliamentary Bureau.
Conservative Party
Theresa May stepped-down as leader of the Conservative Party on 7 June 2019.
Change UK
Anna Soubry has been elected as Change UK leader.
Heidi Allen, Chuka Umunna, Gavin Shuker, Luciana Berger, Angela Smith and Sarah Wollaston have all left Change UK.
